The New Lillington Cross was designed to be hung in the newly rebuilt Lillington Free Church, in Leamington Spa, and represents the old and the new coming together. The New Lillington Cross has two sides to its design: the inward facing side comprises a solid Oak border surrounding the original cross, that had previously hung in the old church building, with an opaque acrylic infill between the two crosses. On the outward facing side is an opaque acrylic cross set within the solid Oak border that, when illuminated, offers a cool glow to the outside world and a subtle halo-effect highlight of the original cross to the congregation inside.
